"Castigation" is a 2-piece brutal death metal project band that is formed by the Vocalist/Lyricist Nilmar Buenaflor from Philippines and Composer/Guitarist, Chris Darksun from Mexico. Chris Darksun is also a lead Guitarist from the band called "Deface The Traitor" also from Mexico. The band "Castigation" was formed by September 2020 during the pandemic through facebook and Chris invited Nilmar to be a part of the project band as a vocalist. They released a first single called "Disemboweled Whore" on October as the track is included in their ongoing EP album called "Endure The Torture". The name "Castigation" was created from the vocalist Nilmar but the alternate name of the band is "Depraved Torturer" created by the guitarist Chris.
